In anticipation of this year's heavily anticipated Super Bowl XLVII, San Diego-based fast food chain Jack in the Box announced today the release of a limited-edition burger, coined the "Hot Mess Burger", in tribute to the secret 80's rock star past of its founder, Jack Box. As a means of promotion, regional West Coast viewers will be able to view a brief 30-second advertisement featuring the launch of the new menu option during the Super Bowl in an effort to capitalize on the large viewership.
